Rosa Clara is a wedding gown designer based out of Barcelona, Spain and has provided a little explanation about their vision for their Spring/Summer 2012 bridal collection titled,
"Rosa Clara"Rosa Clara has described their silhouette trends as both "Volume" & "Minimal".
Here are some of the gowns from the "Rosa Clara" S/S 2012 collection.

Women want to flaunt their figure & look their best on their big day. Fitted waistlines with incredibly flared skirts seems to be the silhouette of the season. Whether the skirt flares at the hips or the calves, this shape definitely is in.
I found both of these general silhouettes in many other designers' collections. Such as...
Vera Wang S/S 2012
Monique Lhuillier S/S 2012
Alvina Venta S/S 2012
Color
White, ivory, cream, eggshell, ecru, the list of wedding whites goes on and on. In western culture, the white wedding gown is a classic.
Like many seasons of the past, white and all of its variations are still being heavily used in the collections this season, yet designers are displaying other colors in their collections that we don't often associate with wedding gowns. It seems as though colored gowns are becoming a bigger trend this season.

Degrade floral laser-cut organza Swirling organza & French tulle
Tulle and lace are light, airy, & classic. Silk, silky tulle, silk organza, and organza seemed to be favored by many of the bridal designers for S/S 2012.
Lace overlay and applique, as well as intricate beadwork was an incredible detail that this season's designers added heavily to their creations.
Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, Melissa Sweet, Lazaro, Carolina Herrera, the list of well known bridal designers goes on and on, but Vera Wang is still the queen of bridal and, along with Monique Lhuillier seemed to leave the biggest impression this season.
